Sad news – Jean Griffin
We are saddened to let you know that our neighbour and friend Jean Griffin (Apartment 6B), passed away last evening as the result of an illness.
27-Apr TOP POOL One Shower Out of Action
Please do not use the right hand shower in the top pool. It will be put of action until we can find a stopcock to turn the water off and repair the shower.

Phase 1 electrics update
Hi everyone.
Just to let you know that we’ve started upgrading the electrics as agreed at the AGM. The main cable to the heated Pool has now been installed, so that should resolve the ongoing problem with the electricity supply tripping and causing problems with the pump etc in that pool.
We’ll update further with work as it’s done.

Road 1 Cladding – Progress
18-Apr: Update re Cladding to Road 1
Klassi has been working hard on completing the cladding to Road 1. As you can see from the photos, some of the plastered and cladded walls were in a bad state, and had to be repaired before the cladding could be completed. Looks like we caught this in time before they became much worse. It will be great to see the difference to Road 1 when the work has been completed.

Update on Website and Community Communications
Dear owners,
As you know, a lot of work has been happening in the background to maintain and enhance our urbanisation. We have been listening to your feedback, and this year, in addition to the approved building and enhancement works on the Urbanisation, we are working hard on improving our communications and information share via the website.
How does the website work?
You will find all sorts of information in this site but to gain access to the official information such as the AGM minutes, committee meeting minutes, bank details etc. you must be an owner of a property on the community. To ensure you are actually an owner we need you to register.

To see the information that is private to owners, you will need to login to the website, using the login and password you set up when you registered.
Visitors to the site who are not logged in will only see “Useful Information” and general posts that have not been set as private.
If you have been logged in to the website recently, you may have noticed that we have updated all of the “Official News” section. Coming from our 2024 AGM in March, we have updated:

- Community rules (updated as per the 2024 AGM)
- Community fees (updated as per the 2024 AGM)
We have had our first Committee Meeting on March 19th. Keeping you up to date with everything that is being worked on by the committee, you can read the minutes of that meeting in the “Committee Meetings” section.
You will also see that we have been posting updates in the General Notices. We are planning to post here regularly to keep you up to date with what is happening on the urbanisation. We suggest you check in regularly to get the latest news.

12-Apr-24 Heated Pool Back in Action
Please note the issue with the heated pool has been resolved.
The heated pool is now back in action and can be used.
Wishing Barry Schofield (No 42) a speedy recovery
As many of you may know, Barry Schofield (no. 42) has had surgery recently. He's had a bumpy start, but is now out of hospital and on the road to recovery.
As a community, we sent him a basket of fruit and a get well card. He has asked me to thank everyone for their kind wishes and he couldn’t get a better nurse than his wife Pat.
Barry is hoping to get back to his trips to The Tipsy Toad in the next few months.
We all wish him well in his recovery.

Notice from Jay – 03-April-2024: HEATED POOL OUT OF ACTION
Please note: The heated pool is out of action as the pump has gone off again and water is very murky.
I have called Alphonso (Pool Maintenance) and sent him photos so just waiting for him to get back to me.
We will let you know when it is back in action again.
Blocked drains
I have just had Unblock-A-Rod here, and they showed me a bucket full of baby wipes that they had to remove from the drain and that these baby wipes were coming from the apartment block in street 2.
Every year at the AGM we ask that nobody puts baby wipes down the toilet as they don’t disperse like toilet paper they only block up our drains, so once again, PLEASE DO NOT PUT BABY WIPES DOWN THE TOILET, PLEASE PUT THEM IN A BAG AND DISPOSE OF THEM IN THE BIN

Power to the urbanisation
Good morning
Sorry for any inconvenience but we have had to turn electric off in the urbanisation for 3/4 hours this morning as the cables to the urbanisation need changing, one of the old cables burnt out and needed replacing.

Urbanisation Rules
There is a minority of people that are quite clearly breaking the Rules of the Urbanisation.
Pool times & Rules that are clearly displayed are being broken by Adults & parents must take control of their children's behaviour & noise levels.... These Spanish legal regulations must be followed due to Health & Safety & RESPECT...
There has been evidence that the pool gates has been tampered with, keeping the gates open before the alarms goes off to stay in longer... This kind of behaviour must stop & everyone to be vigilant..
It’s just a shame that a few have to spoil it for others”

Closure of Pools 2 and 3
Unfortunately we have had to close pools 2 and 3 as there was a man in both pool areas that was very drunk and was sick in both pools, he had a suitcase with him and came from Belgium, he must have been staying on the urbanisation as he knew all the codes for the gates.
If anyone knows who this man is, can you please let me know
